for my second installment of design on a budget i’m moving to the guest bedroom. i’m also getting a little help from target for this post instead of only using craigslist and ebay. click here to see part I - the living room.
twin beds work wonderfully in a guest bedroom because it allows you to maximize the number of guests that can comfortably sleep at your home. if your guests are not a couple they are more than likely not going to want to sleep in the same bed. they may be able to sleep in the same room as long as you have separate beds for them.
here’s the plan…
and here’s the breakdown…
these twin bed duvets for $24.99/ea
with this yellow pillow from ebay as an accent for $9.99
and this dwell bedding pillow from target for $24.99
this night stand from ebay for $49.97 painted high gloss white
this lamp from ebay on top of the nightstand for $95
for the window this ivory roman shade from ebay for $10.99
this butterscotch accent chair from target in the corner of the room for $269
with this accent table from target beside the chair for $84.99
some accessories from target ranging from $8.99 to $39.99
this set of 4 canvas artwork from target for $224.99
2 of these starburst mirrors from target over each of the beds for $29.99/ea
and there you go. a great guest bedroom that any guest would love to stay in and all for around $950.
